Grasso has also had a professional relationship with Rovito. Patch reported that the mayor, an attorney, has represented the restaurateur in civil matters. A pasta dish made of “fresh tomato sauce and basil, tossed with a touch of olive oil, and topped with fresh ricotta” at Capri Ristorante is also named “Linguini alla Mayor Grasso”

The relationship has drawn additional attention since Rovito’s arrest.

In June, Grasso wrote an opinion piece in the Chicago Tribune criticizing what he described as media coverage that unfairly associates Italian Americans with organized crime. However, he did not directly name Rovito in the piece.

The pattern reflects a wider supplier tactic: building recurring mechanical families so a proven feature can be redeployed across multiple titles. That approach lowers development risk and reduces the familiarity barrier for players. For operators, it typically means a steady supply of new content that behaves in predictable, sellable ways.

Blueprint has been explicit about the commercial thinking. Alex Naspe, marketing director at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Building on the success of Triple Action Cash Strike, we have welcomed the return of the pots mechanic, showcased through a vibrant display featuring fireballs with a series of modifiers for a heightened bonus experience.” He added that the studio expects the title to “further strengthen the series’ position within our portfolio and deliver another engaging addition for our operator partners and their players worldwide.”

The release underlines Blueprint’s ability to introduce fresh iterations to a series players already know

Halloween is a natural peg for that approach. It gives operators a topical, franchise-branded title to feature in October promotions without asking players to learn a new system. The friendly Count Dracula fisherman and trick-or-treat trimmings supply the seasonal hook while the underlying fish-collection loop does the heavy lifting.

A fourth Halloween variant in one series also signals how far Pragmatic Play is willing to push iteration on a recognizable mechanical family. Familiarity is the point. Each seasonal skin trades on established player recognition rather than introducing a new core experience.
